In my years as a fitness coach I have achieved my own goals and have had the pleasure of working with numerous clients that have done the same. The consistent theme with all of these people, myself included, is that we all did exactly what we needed to do to meet the goal. Not knowing what to do, how to do it, when do it, and (the most important) not actually doing it, is why many people get lost in the shuffle.
After weeks of mediocre results your motivation starts to wane and before you know it the old habits are back and shortly after the old pounds are back as well. (Sometimes they bring a few new friends with them to hang out on your waistline.)

Too many people I meet have come to believe that their body is simply "meant to be this way" or "I just can't lose the weight." These are excuses that are killing your hopes of real, permanent change.
Of course, some people suffer from metabolic conditions that make losing weight for them a lot harder, but even those people can make some changes over time.
Most of do not have any condition that prevents us from having the body we want.
